Our Mission
Wilton Art Works is dedicated to presenting high-quality, innovative, and diverse artwork that enriches our community and supports both emerging and established artists. To maintain this standard, all artists are selected through a thoughtful review process.
Selection Criteria
Artists will be considered based on the following:
• Artistic Merit: Originality, creativity, and technical skill.
• Consistency & Professionalism: Cohesive body of work, readiness to exhibit, and professional presentation.
• Alignment with Gallery Vision: Work that complements or thoughtfully contrasts with the resident artists and current exhibitions at
Wilton Art Works.
• Engagement: Willingness to participate in event, open studios, and promotional activities.
Application Process
Artists interested in exhibiting must submit:
1. Artist Statement & Bio
2. Portfolio of 5–10 Works (images with title, medium, size, and price)
3. Exhibition History or CV (if available)
4. Proposal of what they would like to exhibit at Wilton Art Works
5. Contact Information & Links (website, social media, etc.)
Applications may be submitted directly by email to gallery@wiltonartworks.com
Review & Selection
• Applications are reviewed by the Wilton Art Works curatorial team.
• Submissions are evaluated against the selection criteria.
• Selected artists will be contacted with exhibition dates and details.
• A waitlist of strong applicants will be maintained for future opportunities.
Exhibition Eligibility
To maintain a dynamic and diverse program, artists who have exhibited at Wilton Art Works within the previous calendar year are not eligible for participation in the current year's exhibition schedule. This policy is designed to provide opportunities for new artistic voices and to ensure a fresh experience for our audience and collectors.
