Originally from Maine, Chuck moved to New York City at a young age, where he embarked on his artistic journey. Immersed in the vibrant creative energy of the city, he studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), The New School, and The Art Students League of New York. Under the mentorship of renowned painter Larry Poons, Chuck honed his skills and found his voice within the realm of abstract expressionism.

His work is deeply influenced by the emotional intensity and spontaneity that define the genre, while also drawing inspiration from the dynamic environment of New York. Chuck's paintings reflect a personal and intuitive approach to color, movement, and form—offering viewers a raw and visceral visual experience.

Now based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Chuck continues to evolve as an artist, constantly pushing the boundaries of his practice while remaining grounded in the foundational principles that shaped his early development.
